Tolkein's Stack

Back Hebrides

The sea off the west coast of Lewis at Mhangarstadh is violent and intimidating as it thunders around the exposed cliffs and several sea stacks. A genuinely scary place! This particular stack wouldn't look out of place in Lord of the Rings.
